About Lora
Lora Simakova is a sophomore at Carlmont High School. She is an Editor for the online publication, Scot Scoop. She has always had a talent in math, but the introduction to her school's journalism program brought out her talent in writing. She joined the Media Arts program in her sophomore year, and has loved it ever since.
In addition, Lora is the Mayor of the San Carlos Youth Advisory Council. She has created connections with people all over the country including Mayors, City Council members, and other political officials. This part of her life has played a huge role in where she is today.
